Strategic Partnership

The Free Press Unlimited (FPU), one of the key partners of NEFEJ, is a Netherlands-based organization that works for access to unbiased and reliable information and its timely dissemination. With this aim, the FPU has been working globally to enable people to assess their own living conditions, influence their life and make the right decisions. NEFEJ has been working with the FPU since 2010 on media shaping and communicating to create awareness on various social and environmental issues.

Currently, the FPU is supporting NEFEJ to run the Strategic Partnership (SP) Program. Under this project, NEFEJ has been carrying out activities focusing on creating awareness on issues of climate change and sustainable development through media. As part of the program, NEFEJ has conducted training to journalists on in-depth reporting and has produced information to draw attention of the government in formulating environment-friendly policies.
