Paani Chhalfal/Townhall meeting

Under the project, NEFEJ is organizing Paani Chhalfal – town hall meeting – to bring all the concerned stakeholders together to highlight environment and watershed related issues in order to identify solutions, develop a common understanding and formulate a consensus of action to be implemented by them to address the issues. Meeting provides communities an opportunity to interact with the local governments, and for the governments to learn about and respond to the challenges first hand.

In the second year period of collaboration with USAIDPaani Project, NEFEJ has committed to conduct 40 town hall meetings covering Rapti, Karnali and Mahakali watershed areas. In the first year, NEFEJ successfully conducted 32 town hall meetings.
