Under the same project, NEFEJ organized an Essay and Art Competition on 15 November 2018 in Janata Secondary School of Gadhwa Rural Municipality in Dang, Middle Rapti watershed in collaboration with HWEPC (Human Welfare and Environment Protection Center) and in support from USAID/Paani. This event was attended by students from Janata Secondary School, Gyanodaya Secondary School, Janajyoti Secondary School, and Saraswoti Secondary School.

The main objective of organizing this essay and art competition is to spread awareness about watershed management and aquatic biodiversity conservation among the school students and to explore students’ thoughts on their role for conserving watershed.
